Regional Director

Another day at the office

Another day at the office

When a film crew turned up in Manchester to record a new series about motorbikes, they pitched up next door to the Regional Director and the NATL chairman, an opportunity not to be missed.
Steve Berry turned up with a stunt rider and a custom shop owner to record interviews to camera, but they would not let us have a spin on the classy "KTM Duke" motorbike, wise people.

Dave hard at work

Dave hard at work

Even though Dave combined the ASNT visit with his work with Argyll Ruane, he got a well earned break and was treated to a visit to a wildlife park, where he got up close and personal with a beautiful young lady. If only all females would roll over when their tummy's were tickled. Also in the photo is Greg Williams one of the Section Directors from SANDE Training school.

Change of Regional Director

Change of Regional Director

David Griffin retired from the role as regional director after four years in the post.
When Dave took over the role, many sections were not reporting and in some instances not meeting. Dave took this challenge and helped the sections especially South Africa to grow.
After a ballot Mark Ormrod, the previous chairman of the NATL section was successful in his application. He said "I am very proud to have won and hope I can emulate Dave in his achievements, ASNT owe him a great debt".
Betsy Blazer and Jocelyn Langlois, passed on their congratulations saying "it's a pleasure to inform you Mark that you have been elected Region 18 Regional Director. We look forward to welcoming you to the group.Again, accept our congratulations."

The picture shows Dave passing "some" of his files over to Mark whilst the current chairman Stede Marsh looks on.
